Introducing
Core Platform
Built from your rate manual. Run by your people.
Songhai Core puts Policy, Billing and Claims on one modern platform for MGAs and Tier 4–5 carriers. AI drafts each product from the rate manual you already filed. Your experts review it, approve it and stay in charge of every decision.
You are choosing a core for the next ten years.
A pre-configured suite is fast when your products match its templates. It gets slow and expensive when your programs, your authority rules or your products are your own. For an MGA or a growing carrier, they usually are.
Songhai Core starts from the other end: from the rate manual you already filed, and from the way your people already make decisions.
Specialists translate your manual into vendor configuration. Each new program or rate change goes back into a project queue.
Songhai Core drafts the product from your manual. Your product team reviews, tests and approves it in the Workbench, then releases it as a sealed, versioned package.
Referrals move through email. Finance reconstructs what operations did. Claims lives in another system.
Underwriting, servicing, billing and claims run on one platform, with no integration project between them. Every decision keeps its evidence.
Policy, Billing and Claims. Connected from the first quote.
Start with the module you need most. Add the others when you are ready. Each one works from the same policy record.
- Product and rating
- A Workbench that turns your filed rate manual into a reviewed, tested and versioned product. Every premium can show how it was calculated.
- Underwriting and authority
- Eligibility and underwriting rules, referrals with evidence, and authority limits that you configure for each person and program.
- Policy and servicing
- Quote, bind and issue. Endorse, cancel, reinstate, rescind, renew and rewrite, with exact premium and notices, even for backdated changes.
- Billing
- Invoices, payment plans, dunning, refunds, commissions and a premium-trust ledger. Insureds pay and renew through their own portal.
- Claims
- First notice of loss, coverage on the loss date, reserves within a claims authority ladder, payments and closure, in-house or through a TPA.
- MGA operations
- Your fronting carrier's policy numbers, separate underwriting and claims authority, TPA claims, and a dated producer and agency history.
- Governance
- A hash-chained record of every rule decision, override and piece of evidence, ready for your capacity partners, auditors and regulators.
- Shared workspace
- One Inbox, tasks, notes, documents and shared queues for underwriting, service, billing and claims teams.
More context for every decision. Fewer handoffs between teams.
Your growth depends on the judgment of your underwriters, adjusters and product people. Songhai Core gives that judgment better tools.
- Product and actuarialLaunch the programs you design
- Start from a draft of your own manual instead of a blank template. Review every rate and rule before release.
- UnderwritersDecide with the full picture
- Risk details, history, evidence, conditions and your authority in one workspace. Referrals arrive with the reason they stopped.
- Service repsGet changes right the first time
- Service a policy from its page. Premium, notices and billing follow each change, including late and backdated ones.
- Adjusters and claims leadersOwn the claim from first notice
- Coverage on the loss date, reserves within authority, and payments on the same platform as the policy.
- FinanceSee the money as operations move it
- Billing and claims post to a premium-trust ledger as the work happens, so month-end starts reconciled.
- IT and complianceControl change with evidence
- Versioned releases, access controlled by role and permission, and a decision record that you can hand to an auditor.
Start with one program. Become a design partner.
We are selecting a small number of MGAs and carriers to go live first. Design partners work directly with the founder and the delivery team, and shape what comes next.

Measure the pilot against what you agreed. Then add programs, modules and users.
An engineering system built for insurance.
We build with an AI-native engineering system. AI drafts specifications, code and tests. Core insurance systems product analysts, engineers and testers guide, design and review every component, and inform every decision.
- Domain first
- Every product starts from the documents insurers already use: rate manuals, filings, policy forms and the way underwriters and adjusters work.
- Specifications before code
- A subsystem gets an approved product specification and an implementation contract before we build it.
- Controls matched to risk
- Each change gets the review and tests that its risk needs. A change that touches money, data or permissions gets the most.
- Evidence on every change
- A change merges only after its automated tests pass and an independent review approves it.
The company
Djallon Technologies Inc. was founded in 2026 to build software products for insurers. Songhai Core is the first.
Founded by Wayne Iluyomade, a former Guidewire architect and insurance core system implementation executive at IBM Global Business Services as well as other system integrators, Djallon is focused on bringing advanced core systems capabilities that enable business agility to MGAs and smaller carriers, without the traditional multi-year and multi-million-dollar implementations that have proven historically cost-prohibitive.
Bring a rate manual. Leave with a plan you can test.
